How often do you hear someone say "Everything is manufactured overseas"? Manufacturers - hosting a tour of your facility allows you to highlight the great products that you are producing right here in San Joaquin County. It creates awareness for your company within both the local and national business community as well as the local community at large.

Get Back to Work: Networking

In my book, Get Back to Work: Smart and Savvy Real-World Strategies to Make your Next Career Move, the fourth chapter – Networking – reviews strategies to successfully build a list of contacts through effective networking to find new job opportunities.

I am sure you have heard the phrase: “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.”   To build this important network of contacts, you have to get out and start networking to build new business relationships or to cultivate the ones you already may have.  It’s imperative; after you meet someone, connect on LinkedIn, email and/or phone call to follow up. In this chapter of Get Back to Work, I share some even more helpful tips and strategies to make networking work for you to find your next job opportunity.
